Steph – Youth Development Coordinator
Steph first started PEEK in 2013 as a Volunteer for the Street Play and Youth Programmes. In 2014, she started as a Trainee Youth Worker, working with the Youth Programme for 9 months while completing a college diploma in Informal Education/Youth Work. Once finished, she worked at PEEK until 2018 as a Play Ranger before moving on to work for Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity as a Project Worker, working with children, young people and families accessing the hospital. In 2020, she took up a role as a high school-based youth worker for FARE Scotland based in St Mungo’s Academy, before returning to PEEK as the Youth Development Coordinator in 2021.
With many years’ experience working with children in different settings, Steph is passionate about empowering young people to reach their potential and be positive influences within their communities.
