Courtney – Lead Early Years Worker

Courtney started her PEEK journey in 2013 as a youth participant where she completed her bronze Arts Award. After that, she became a young volunteer not only with PEEK but with other organizations such as YOMO Youth bank, Glasgow Children’s Holiday Scheme and Ruchazie Parish Church. This continued for many years in-between her studies to become a nursery practitioner. Courtney holds an SVQ Level 3 in Social Services (Children and Young People) and has experience working in the nursery environment for many years. Courtney spent many of her early years as a freestyle disco dancer and regularly attended dance competitions at weekends. Courtney started working sessional for PEEK in 2018 during the Holiday Programmes and Street Play sessions but has since joined PEEK’s Wellbeing Team as our Lead Early Years Worker. Courtney delivers our Peekaboo Play Café session working closely with families across Glasgow.
