Amy T – Community Artist
Amy has a background in Performing Arts and studied at The Dance School of Scotland, specializing in Musical Theatre, before completing her degree at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London. She has had a diverse career in the industry, having worked on cruise ships, toured extensively throughout the UK and abroad, and appeared in Musicals, commercials and many pantomimes. One of her career highlights was being part of the cast for Still Game at The Hydro, performing to 13,000 people at every show.
Amy first worked with PEEK in 2022 as a sessional Community Artist, where she choreographed a group of dancers to perform at the Annual Charity Ball. She enjoyed the experience so much that she was asked back the following year and was also given the opportunity to work with children and young people attending the theatre sessions. Now, she is part of the core team and is excited to work with the PEEK participants on a deeper level while delivering some exciting sessions. Amy is passionate about using her experience in Performing Arts to boost children and young people’s confidence, self-esteem, and most of all, to have fun with the communities.
