Mark first heard about PEEK from his wife, who teaches at Dalmarnock Primary school. Faith spoke passionately about PEEK’s involvement with the school and how much help they have been with the children and staff. This then linked to Nancy Clunie who was Head Teacher at Dalmarnock and also on the Board of PEEK. Mark soon learned what an amazing charity PEEK is and how much it does to improve the lives of children and young people. Mark is delighted about being on the Board of Trustees as he is now part of the efforts to support children, young people and families.

Mark has 2 daughters, who keep him on his toes. His youngest daughter is in Scouts and he has now became a Cub Leader. Mark attends Cubs/Scouts with his daughter and really enjoys the sessions and weekends camping. Scouts was a great influence to him when he was younger and he is keen to try and give something back.

Mark is a chartered Structural Engineer and will be bringing some of his knowledge to help with the redevelopment of the Whitevale Baths over the next 5 years.
