Jackie T
Jackie has worked in the charity sector for over 40 years and brings with her a lot of experience in the third sector, as well as being a mother and grandmother. Jackie was introduced to community programmes working as a Community Development Worker in Drumchapel where she was supporting families who had challenges and needed support. As a fully trained parent facilitator and trainer, she knows the importance of family life and is a firm believer in building strong positive relationships within families and building confidence and skills for parents who then use their own as-well as learning to have a stronger more joyful family life with their children. Jackie’s background is in Community Development and she has had the experience of living and working in Glasgow, North of England – Northumberland and South London – Brixton. A Winston Churchill Travelling Fellow, she is taking what she has learned to further her passion in reaching out to as many families as possible and helping them build powerful, positive relationships. The work that PEEK carries out has always been very important to Jackie as she knows children need to feel nurtured and valued and PEEK do this. Jackie likes to go walking with her wee dog Monty and can been seen breaking into a run every now and again.
